KIN: GATHER & GROW

Flourish founder, writer, and podcaster Kimberly Novosel and Clinical Coach Mollie Birney have been gathering each month for nearly a year to guide small-group conversations in our community designed to invite vulnerability, spark connection, and share wisdom that irrigates our personal and professional lives.

These gatherings have been so transformative that we’ve decided to open them up beyond our small circle and invite others in the Portland, Oregon area to join us in these spacious, soul-shifting, gently guided group conversations.

Our goal is to practice being - with ourselves and together - and for each individual to leave a Kin circle having given and gained something that enriches your experience of living, both as an individual and in community.

We’ll hold the space. You bring yourself, just as you are.

For now, Kin is invite only. If you’d like to be notified when the next space opens, let us know here:

ABOUT YOUR GUIDES

KIMBERLY NOVOSEL

Kimberly Novosel is a longtime entrepreneur who came to meditation as a way to heal her anxiety and addiction to busyness. She found it to be so life-changing that she retired from her 17-year entertainment industry career to share meditation with others who are seeking healing, a slower pace, and a deeper connection with themselves.

In January of 2019 she founded Flourish Meditation where she leads meditation teacher trainings, personal growth workshops, and 1:1 coaching sessions. A lifelong writer as well as a published author and columnist, Kimberly is remarkable with words, a skill that adds an additional layer of soul to her work.

When she’s not in the studio/office, you’ll find Kimberly writing, hiking, or sitting on a patio somewhere. She lives in Portland, OR with her daughter, Isla.

MOLLIE BIRNEY

Mollie Birney is a Clinical Life Coach in private practice. She works with high-achieving professionals seeking efficient, authentic transitions and behavioral change.

Her coaching style has been described as “compassionate straight-talk with therapeutic roots” and draws upon her years as therapist in a variety of treatment environments, as a private consultant and interventionist for families in crisis. These clinical underpinnings are now the foundation of her work as a personal coach for folks looking for a clearer understanding of the mechanics of their mind.

She holds a masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University with a specialization in Addiction Studies.
